If we request a particular room are we more likely to get it? Since we are going back in July 2005 we are wanting to stay in the CR again with the same view (of the castle) we had this year. (I loved going to sleep each night watching the lights on the castle change colors!) If we request our same room number are we more likely to get that view than if we just asked for a castle view?

Re: If we request a particular room are we more likely to get it? I have read before that requesting a particular room is TOO specific. If that room isn't available then you're out of luck. I might request the particular view and add on the room # just in case (especially that you'd had it before) Good luck!

Re: If we request a particular room are we more likely to get it? I agree with eliza. The less specific the better. Just have your wishes added to your reservation (non-smoking, MK view, upper floor...if that fits the bill). -HiddenMickey

Re: If we request a particular room are we more likely to get it? Requesting a specific room number is fine as long as 1) you realize that your chances of getting it are very, very small and 2) that you should always indicate to the room assigner why it's important you want that room (view, location, size, etc). If you give them that information, they can come up with an alternate room that will still fit your requests if needed. Without that info, they will simply assign you to a room that will probably not be what you had in mind.
