| What is Concierge Level Service [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] Ok I admit it --- I'm green and on information overload. I recently booked a vacation at Beach Club Villas as part of the DVC. I'm reading postings [img]graemlins/read.gif[/img] and I don't understand what the Concierge Level is and is it something I should be asking for as part of the Beach Club Villas? [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img] Anything advise would be appreciated! iczirok@hotmail.com |

| Re: What is Concierge Level Service Irene, Concierge is a level of hotel amenities that you pay for. We stayed at AKL last week, on the concierge level. By doing so, we enjoyed deluxe accomidations, (savannah view room), a conciege lounge with snacks, drinks and concierge staff available at all times to us (all of this is included in your room rate). The staff at concierge can make ALL of your arrangements for you, beit Priority Seating, book your private Concierge Safari, arrange for a cab...you name it, they do it for you. The concierge arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered to our friends small children on their special day. Concierge arranged golf, a cab, and dinners for us. And when we left, they even gave us a small gift for our travels. If you can afford it, I highly recommend giving it a try!       |

| Re: What is Concierge Level Service Since you are staying in the Villas at the Beach Club, concierge service will not be available to you. If you were to reserve a Concierge level room at the Beach Club resort, you would be able to take advantage of those amenities. I don't think you'll miss it. Have fun in your Villa. -HiddenMickey   |

As part of the service staff will be on call to start your charcoal grill so its ready when you get back, walk your dog and pick up after him if you are in a pet loop and best of all who will dump and clean out your RV sewer tanks. | Re: What is Concierge Level Service I've done both DVC Villas (Beach, Wilderness, OKW) and concierge (boardwalk, Grand, Wilderness) I feel that basically a DVC villa is like having your own private concierge level... the living area is just as comfortable as the concierge. the only one that I would have to say beats it all..is the Grand Floridian concierge looking down at the Grand FLoridian society orchestra in the evening. It is truly magical. Well.. that and the 14th floor of the Contemporary.. that is Concierge PLUS! Stick with the villas... get your own wine and cheese.... and you'll have just as much fun!! |
