| Had to say goodbye to a friend today.
No, not a person, but we sold my Escalade today. I'm really bummed about it, but it made no sense to keep it.
It only gets 14 mpg, and for having the 2 kids now, it's just too much. We originally got it because we had the 3 kids still at home, and Samantha's wheelchair fit into the back. With her gone, it just wasn't practical any more.
So, Goodbye my old friend, I'll miss you! Your DVD was great for trips, and the cooled seats were wonderful in the winter. If only you got 20 mpg, we could have stayed close. |

I had no idea they got 14 mpg. I can certainly see the practicality in saying good bye but I am sure that didn't make it a whole lot easier.   | |

We haven't settled on anything yet. I've been waffling between a Volvo and a Toyota mini-van, but DH's uncle owns a car repair shop and has some cars that are for sale (really cheap). we'll probably go with one of the cars they have, and put the money in the bank for now! | |
