| Your favorite summer sound? For me its sea gulls. We were sitting on the back deck yesterday eating crabs and listening to the Phillies game on the radio. It's my favorite passtime in the summer! |

| The crack of a baseball on a bat...the thump of a baseball hitting a catcher's mitt...Ah, the sounds made by the boys of summer are my favorite!

| Children's laughter. I know it's a bit sappy - but it's what I like most. Of course, the sound of meat hitting a hot grill is good too, but we grill all year so it's not a summer thing here. |

| I love the sound of a campfire crackling. The whole evening atmosphere of the busy summer campgrounds... voices being swallowed by the trees as people walk over the crunching gravel, the crickets chirping all around, the sounds of the waves greeting the sand. As a kid I used to sit on my Mom's lap and fall asleep to the resonance of her voice as she talked over the campfire. That was the best sound, but it was extra special when you added all the other outdoorsy components to it.

| When I was little, I always heard crickets at night, but I always thought it was the sound of the stars twinkling!
