| I've got to work around the house all weekend. Cleaning, painting, getting things ready for the floor guys next week. It's why I'm goofing around on the boards at 10 in the morning!

| After my house being torn apart since March having had work done, I am cleaning! DH to DS2 so they are out of my hair & DS1 is a piece of cake. We will have family fun day Sun or Mon. We are going to Crystal Caves which looks like fun! Have a great weekend everyone! Julie |

| Our Big Plans are to grout the tile that we just put down in the bathroom yesterday. Hopefully on Monday we will be putting the toilet back in, painting the trim and installing the 1/4 round.

| Big Weekend here - Labor Day starts on Thursday night around here. Teachers have to work T/W/Th, but not Friday, and the kids don't start till Tuesday the 4th. It's also the Lancaster Fair. We ended up going to the fair Thursday night -and had a BLAST! Friday - I ended up going into work for 1/2 day to set up my classroom - then came home - had plans to grocery shop/clean - but Sarah and Jennie had friends over - so that went out the window - we watched a movie and made caramel brownies instead!! Today - we drove over to Gorham for our first trip to a SuperWalmart! Much better prices than our local grocery. Sarah got a new mountain bike, and I got the last of the stuff I need for Amanda. Now they are out riding - and I'm putting away groceries and doing laundry. No clue what's on the agenda tonight. Tomorrow - we are doing a Labor Day Pancake Breakfast on the Common with a bunch of our friends - Amanda's farewell breakfast. Then we need to finish packing up her stuff. Monday is Sarah's 11th birthday and Amanda leaves for college. So - we're all going to move her into school, and then all go out to eat at Olive Garden - the bike was an early birthday present. She won't have her real party until next weekend - BUT she gets Amanda's room (since it's 10 times bigger than her little closet sized room!)

| We just returned from Hallie's 12th birthday (her actual birthday was Wednesday) which was a picnic at the park. The kids all came home with us and are now playing playstation. At some point, I'll shuttle them all home. Other than that, there's the usual house stuff. We may catch a movie, and I know we'll BBQ something at some point, maybe visit grama and get in a last swim before they close the pool. Oh, and I'm sleeping in the next two days!

| I am spending the weekend cleaning and organizing my office. I don't know why - but I want to completely re-arrange it. I am doing some school prep shopping and preparing school lectures for mid-October when I start teaching again. No real special plans for the weekend. Just working on the house and getting some long put off cleaning and organizing done.

| I'm doing homework. Kids are spending Sat. night with friends or family. DH will pick them up tomorrow and take them down to southern Indiana to a friend's place, where they'll ride horses, play in a lake, play outdoor games, and eat and eat and eat. I'll be doing homework/studying. Monday I'll be doing homework/studying. Kids and DH will be going to the Hot Rod National Drags in Clermont, IN. which is like a town over. I'll be doing homework. They'll be watching hot rods!! |

| Today, I went tailgating for the WVU/WMU game until about 3; then watched the game. Tonight I'm going to see the new Halloween movie, and I have to work from midnight 'til 8. Sunday, I've got tix for the "Bad Boys of Rock" tour - Hinder, Papa Roach, & Buckcherry. Although I like rock, these bands aren't exactly what I call "great rock," but the tix were free, so I can't complain. Monday is going to be spent recuperating and preparing for the upcoming week.

| Today I went out to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, and then went to a movie with a good friend of mine. We ended up seeing Hairspray which was very good! Then when I got home another friend wanted to go for a walk. So we headed to my favorite lake in Minneapolis for a leisurely walk. Tonight I think I will just check the boards and watch TV.Tomorrow I am heading back to the Minnesota State Fair with DM since she hasn't gone yet. Monday I have to work, so I guess that's it for the holiday weekend.

| Tomorrow we are going to the Queenstown, MD outlets to look for a new backpack for Rachel at LLBean. Monday we are going to Pat's niece's for a cookout with fajitas, corn and bean salad, layered bean dip, corn bake, and desserts by me! I made a chocolate chip pie, a spice cake with caramel frosting (cooked), Not Your Momma's Banana Puddin, and Key Lime Cheesecake. Yummy! |
