Question Chrissi's SQOTD 9/1

It's September! And Labor Day Weekend!

Do you have any plans for the holiday weekend?

We aren't doing any picnics. I'm picnicked out. There's a Labor Day parade in Pen Argyl this weekend. Maybe we'll go to that. Monday, DJ may be spending the night at Grammy and Paw-paw's house, so I'll have Walt all to myself for the day. Maybe we'll go see the Transformers movie.

Today I'm going to a picnic at my brother's house. I'm excited because his tattoo artist will be there and I'm going to set up an appointment for my first tattoo .
Tomorrow I'm working from 7am til noon then attending a picnic at my mom's house.
Monday will be spent at home relaxing or back at mom's for party leftovers and a swim.

Well my weekend started with calling the county then state police to file a report over my accident last night with the deer then calling my insurance company.
Today I have to babysit my stepfather with Alzheimer's while my mom shops. Drop off some of the last green beans from my garden to my dad. Clean the house (don't I always?).
Cook and sleep.

Well - I'm supposed to go to the beach, but I'm still debating on whether or not to go. One of my friends is already down there, and she says the weather is not good beach weather - cool and cloudy. Usually I wouldn't mind just going and being lazy even if we didn't spend much time on the actual beach, but I have so much to do around here - I feel like if I'm not going to get to enjoy the sand and water, I might as well stay home and be productive. But, I'm already packed....hmmm. I have to make up my mind in the next few hours, though.

So either I'll be at the beach with my friends until Monday evening (no worries about missing out on the PP boards, though - the condo has free WiFi ) -- or I'll be here, cleaning, running errands, starting on my project for school, getting everything for the start of travel season at work (laundry, dry cleaners, etc.). I'll probably go to the pool tomorrow and Monday if the weather is okay, since after this weekend, it closes for the season. Whether I go or stay, I know my grandma is having the whole fam damily over for dinner on Monday night, so I'll be back in time for that.

DS & I are going to put the finishing touches on his summer reading projects. My nephew is going to be coming over so I can help him with his summer reading math packet. Then I may take DS out to get some more jeans and a second pair of sneakers.

We also have 3 more Red Sox games to watch over the weekend!

Our youngest son came home - well, kind of! He came home last night, I did his laundry, we had pizza and we all went to bed! (it has been a long week for all of us!)
This morning we had breakfast, and now he is off to the Notre Dame football game!
He leaves tomorrow morning for a friend's lake cottage for the rest of the long week-end.
Our oldest is in Indiana (from Denver) for the long week-end. He is meeting with many college friends at a large lake about 45 minutes from us. They are throwing one of the guys a bachelor party. We will meet up with him Sunday for lunch.
Monday? - Who knows!
