| Have you ever been in a parade? I've been in quite a few actually. Mostly when I was younger. Baby costume parades, two local bicentennial parades, Halloween parades, and one school parade which I can't remember what was for. My aunt is going to be in a Labor Day parade in the next town over today as one of many clowns. (She does kids parties as a hobby. ) |

| Too many to even count! I remember marching in parades with my dance school & with Campfire Girls way back in elementary school. Then I marched in the Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Memorial Day & Gaspee Days (we celebrate the burning of the Gaspee....a 42 year old tradition.....2 hours long!) parades every year with my high school band. DS & I have also ridden on a fire truck many times, when DH is driving for a parade.....or sometimes DH is working and we hitch a ride with his friends. (BTW, riding on the top of a fire truck is fun, but I also believe I lose some of my hearing each time we ride on one because the boys driving the truck tend to get a little carried away with the sirens

| I was in our town's Christmas parade on the Girl Scout float several times, and then my high school tennis team marched in it the two years we were state champions. I also rode with my friend's family in their cool, old car in the "cool old car" section one year. I was in our Fourth of July parade a couple of times, riding with my grandpa in a convertible when he was mayor. There was only room for my grandma and two other people to sit with him, so all us grandkids (me and my siblings - my mom's an only child) would take turns each year as who got to ride with him. I was in my high school homecoming parade 4 times, but my junior and senior year, they stopped having a real parade with the reps in convertibles driving around downtown and starting doing a "walking parade" on the track around the football field. It was pretty lame.

| Yep - always the Founder's Day parade in whatever town we lived in. This is as an adult. Never as a child. We've done it with DDs' gymnastics studio, dance studio, Girl Scouts and then also when we owned our own buisness we did a float, and I usually got to drive the truck!! |

| I was in several Christmas parades when I was in Girl Scouts and then helped my Dad with his Kiwanis Club float one year and rode in the car underneath it. But my favorite time was when I rode with my Dad and Papaw in an old blue Chevy truck, throwing out candy to other kids.
