| Weird, weird neighbors! We live on the corner of a cul-du-sac, and we can see all of the cul-du-sac from our back windows/doors. Today I looked out, and there was one of our neighbors, using a yard sweeper to sweep up all of the leaves - on the street!! He just kept walking around and around that cul-du-sac until there were no more leaves on it! How weird is that? Vacuuming the street? And - only the round part of the cul-du-sac, not the very small straight part leading to it.

| At least he's out - we have neighbors that never seem to be out in the daylight - very creepy!

| Leaves And your street is clean. My neighbors will let trash blow around on a windy day. |

| Sounds like something my weird neighbor would do. She regularly (like, twice, sometimes three times a week) sweeps the "whatever" out of the street along the curb and makes sure there are no sticks, grass or anything like that in the street in front of her house. Yet, she doesn't really care that there are squares of toilet paper all over her yard (and mine too, now that I mention it) because she decided that she needed to use 24 rolls of toilet paper to TP her OWN tree on "Mischief Night" before Halloween . . . and the TP has just recently started falling out.

| Maybe he needs another "life/hobby". I wish he would come and vaccum my yard.

| Recently, when picking up Stefanie at Luke's parents, I noticed their neighbor on his roof with the leaf blower. Strange and maybe even a bit dangerous, but it worked. His roof and gutters were clear of leaves.

| To each his own on the street vacuuming... Our previous neighbor was extremely house-proud. Several years ago, shortly after we moved into our current house and on a Saturday after Michael had worked almost 48 hours straight--so we thought we could sleep in--at 7:15 a.m. we were awakened by this roaring sound. Michael said, "That sounds like a leaf blower on E.L's roof," said roof being directly across and about 5 feet from our bedroom windows. So we peeked out from under the shade and sure enough, the guy was up on his roof with his leaf blower, blowing out his gutters!! He was probably 80 at the time...scared us half to death to watch him up there. As you can imagine, there was no sleeping in that morning! |

| It sounds to me like someone's got too much time on their hand, but how neat that they're doing something for the whole neighbourhood.

| Is this the same one who used the vacuum cleaner as a grass blower this summer? |
