The Hannah Montana 3D movie

For some reason, Thom and I were under the belief that this concert movie was only being shown on Friday in limited cities. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that it was showing all this week in Columbia.

So . . . Thom and Mary Devall went to the 1 p.m. showing yesterday - - Thom said that they only other dad there had his son with him. I kept waiting to get a call from the police saying that Thom had been hauled in for dancing in the aisles, but he showed considerable restraint.

They both gave it two thumbs up and have been talking about it non stop. Mary Devall has been talking exceptionally loud since then so we may have to curb her concert movie going.

Glad they both liked it!

We're looking at going this week maybe . . . well, I should say DH is looking at getting DD and I to go this week.

I tried to tell him he was going and he protested. Something about wanting to enjoy his new big screen HD TV all to himself.

Glad they liked it! My sister and her hubby took the girls to see it in Nashville, TN (bout 5 hours away from their home) for Maeve's 7th b-day and loved it.

We went today (while the Super Bowl was on), and really, really enjoyed it. Our theater probably only had about 50 people in it. DBF and I were definitely the oldest people who didn't have kids that attended. There were lots of cute little girls wearing their finest HM gear. And surprisingly, there were quite a few dads, which showed me they must love their girls to miss the game!

I bought tickets for it this Friday. DD and DS have been asking about going to see it for a couple of weeks. I got a babysitter for Andrew and the four of us are going out to eat and then the show.

I'm glad to hear there is good reports about it, I was a little worried. I tried to get out of it by buying earlier tickets, but DW said I had to go to help "detain" them.

I bought 4 tix for Friday for DD (9) so she could invite 2 friends. Oldest DD (16) really wanted to go to, so she convinced her BF to go too. So those 2 took younger one with her friend. The friend's mom came with us, we went out to dinner across the street and the kids went to the movie. I think we got the better end of that deal! LOL! Even the BF liked it, though, although he said he thought his eardrums would bleed from the screaming 7 yo sitting behind him! We never got to the concert, so I figured this would be the next best thing.

Glad they had a great time. We would have to drive to 75 miles, right now, to see it. Hopefully it will come here soon.
