| My bad news: the Disney Store I work for is CLOSING!  We got the news yesterday....our last day open is March 9th. This is the SECOND Disney Store that has closed while I was working there (first was in the Meridian Mall in Okemos in 2004). Now 4 years later I am going through the SAME DARN THING. It is heartbreaking...I am not working there for the money I love my job, my co-worker and the guests. The closest Disney Stores are an hour away...so tranfering isn't an option (unless I want to work for Children's Place). Every guest asks "Why?"...we don't have an answer to that. They have not told us if we are going to have a clearance sale we might just send everything to other stores. *SIGH* So that is my BAD news.  R.I.P. Disney Store 679 in the Lansing Mall in Lansing, MI!

| i'm so sorry to hear that! one of my local disney stores closed too! i didn't even know it until they were all closed up. i bought my first park passes in that store... it's so sad. i practically grew up shopping there because it was the only store i liked in the mall. i haven't been to my other local mall to see if that one has survived. i think the one close to me closed because they built a brand new one twice the size in a bigger mall about 20 miles away...but the other way from me! i just wonder how long it's going to last... *sigh*  's and  's!

| Robin, I feel so sorry for you... I don't know what I would do if my Disney store closed, and I don't work there. Just like the folks who do.  Pixies for you and your coworkers --

| I am sorry to hear that Robin I too love working at the Disney store  Hate working retail at Target, well, hated it as I now no longer work there But I DO love working at the Disney store even though it is retail.
