| I have a few "friends" who forward every nonsensical thing that comes their way. I delete almost everything that has 'forward' in the subject line. On rare occasions, maybe twice a year, I come across something too good to pass up and send it to my brother and sister. Even then, I cut and paste it and don't just forward it. I don't like it when friends think they are keeping in touch by forwarding junk. I'd much rather read a one sentence 'I was thinking of you today.' than something that's passed along.

| They don't seem to be as abundant as they used to be. I think my friends have started to wise up about them.

| YES. They really get on my nerves. It's not that I really mind the non-work distraction (obviously, I'm here, aren't I? I also have a former co-worker that I am still friends with that sends me quasi-offensive political stuff. I've dropped major hints that we don't really share the same views, but he continues to send me these really annoying forwards.
