No central air here. We have a window unit in our bedroom only. I can stand the heat during the day but I need it cool to go to sleep.

we have 2 window air conditioners. We have one that cools the main floor and one in our bedroom on the 2nd. We just put them both up on Sunday. We were thinking about upgrading to central air next year. We just bought the house last year; it turns out that it already had the ducts we just have to purchase the unit. I asked my DH and my DBrother (who helped us) ....would you rather go to DW or get central air next year. They both looked at me like I was nutz said central air .....really?! The AC works just fine. and then they started to tease me saying that I am Disney obsessed. Boo to them...booooooo.

We all have really bad pollen allergies, so our air goes on at the end of April. I don't know how we would live without central air.

We have a two story colonial, and a full basement, so the heat RISES to the top where we sleep. I have it come on cooler at night so we can sleep. I can just imagine what the bill will be next month, but I don't care, we can sleep at night!
