| What are your 4th of July holiday weekend plans? I was just wondering what everyone is up to this weekend? Today we have been working around the house. I did some finishing touches as far painting the dining room. Once that is done, then it is on to the living room for painting. When the living room is painted, then we will be able to replace the carpeting on both the main floor and upstairs. ![]() DBF has been cutting down trees trying to clear out the yard. Tonight is fireworks, and then probably more working on the house tomorrow. Sunday I hope to carve out some time for scrapbooking. Happy 4th of July everyone! ![]() |

| Well, since I am broken and all that, I will try and get some boxes unpacked. I have to make a strawberry shortcake for my brother in law's birthday, which was July 2. If my husband doesn't finish putting the swing set together I will choke him. So, I'll will be sticking close to home. Like I said I will venture one town over to visit my DH's brother, but other than that, nada. I'll be nursing my broken foot with some FB's (maybe. I always say I am going to have a drink and then I never do) and a raft in the pool. |

| I took Andrew to see Kung Fu Panda today. Hilarious. Tomorrow is the town parade. Andrew decorated his bike for the bike decoration contest and will be riding in the parade. If it doesn't rain again the fireworks are at night. My sister and her kids are coming over on Sunday for a BBQ and swimming. Whew. I'm exhausted.

| Today, I did laundry and some chores around the house, before we had a cookout tonight for the 4th - complete with margaritas, hot dogs on the grill and homemade ice cream. Yum! Tomorrow we're doing a big cleaning as we're hosting a baby shower here on Sunday. Tomorrow night I have plans to go out to eat Mexican with a couple of folks. Sunday will be church and then the baby shower - I plan on doing nothing at all Sunday night!

| I took my son and the bratty neighbor kids to see Wall E last Tuesday. Can I tell you, that I really really don't like my neighbors kids. I normally don't despise any children, but they have a girl who is 9 going on 30 and I wanna choke her. |

| Went to a cook-out at a friends house yesterday, and our plans for the rest of the weekend call for just hanging around the house watching sports on TV.
