| Enough with the firecrackers I like 4th of July as much as anyone, But it's 1 AM & people are still shooting off firecrackers & fireworks.. I can't sleep, It is very annoying. Mike has to get up at 4:30 AM for work.. Enough all ready! I consider it just rude after 11PM.. How about you? Deb

| I agree. I'm all for leaving fireworks to the professionals and not freaking my poor dog out all night, thankyouverymuch. I feel the same way about any noise after 11pm, but firecrackers are awful. DDs didn't get to sleep until after 1am as they are also very sensitive to it.

| Sorry... I hate personal fireworks regardless of time. DH is a firefighter and I worry so much about him tonight. And the booming doesn't even seem to start around 10pm because that is when it is finally dark. Luckily DD has been sleeping and surprisingly not disturbed... last year was miserable until 3 am! ETA: I don't get the big deal out of setting off the fireworks anyway.... It's nothing like WDW fireworks... which is what I MUCH rather see!!

| OMG...you all should have lived in Hawaii! 4th of July, Halloween, New Year's...fire crackers from the time if started gettting dark till about 2 am. In neighborhoods no less. Crazy! It sounded like a war-zone. I was always so angry about it...very rude after a certain time.

| We were lucky last night - nothing past 11pm. But we also have the neighborhood people who go overboard shooting large things in the parkway! Honestly, my main wish every 4th of July is that our house doesn't catch on fire. DH would like every town in the U.S. to forgo the fireworks displays entirely (taxpayer money ya know) and use the money for something more meaningful. And yes, the Disney fireworks are the best.

| They stop around 11pm in our neighborhood. I would have called the police for a noise violation if I heard them still going off at 1am.

| The "official" fireworks for Canada Day at the Provincial Park where we're near didn't even start until 11:00 because it's just dark enough then. We had already shot ours off before then, but ours were those low ones that aren't all that spectacular and it doesn't really matter if it's pitch dark out. Then everybody got in the boat and headed across the lake to watch the official ones!

| I agree. There has to be a time to call it quits. We used to live next door to people who would shoot them off in their backyard until 1am. Plus all of the debris would be found in our yard the next morning.
