| yellow-gold, with gray "stones" interspersed about. the last owners decorated - they were going for a Mexican villa look, we think it reminds us of Italy! The counter top we replaced - they hadn't gotten around to it, and it was BLUE. Now, it's a laminate that looks like pebbled granite. There are white tiles around as a back-splash, and we added an accent of a bronze-ish rope tile. I love it!

| We have a very old style kitchen - the cabinets have been painted colonial blue and the walls are cream. In just a few weeks, everything will be torn apart down to the studs and I'll finally get a brand new kitchen! We've lived in this house for 22 years and the kitchen has needed done ever since we moved in! So then I'll have oak cabinets, tuscan tile floor and undecided walls. I'll figure that out after I get a feel for the new layout - I'll actually have counter space! I can't wait!

| Kitchen Dark red up top and light wood on the bottom. My husband "surprised" me while I was visiting family in England last year by redoing the kitchen. When I came home, imagine my surprise when he painted the top of the walls dark dark red and the bottom lemon yellow! It took me 2 weeks to explain to him that it really was a lovely thought but it just didnt suit me, and we put the wood on the bottom. Bless my wonderful but tasteless husband's heart!
