| DD home from hospital As some of you know, my DD 9 was very ill last week, and ended up in the hospital with severe dehydration. She was admitted Fri. night at 9pm and came home today at noon. She is doing great, eating a little and drinking alot, and is going to school tomorrow for 1/2 a day. This was quite an experience for us. If my husband and I get stranded on a very small deserted island for more than 3 days, it will not end well. 3 people should not spend that much time together in such a small space!! Anyway...We are just happy that she is well and showing us that sweet smile again.(...and DH went back to work this afternoon!!  ) |

| Happy to hear she is home and going to school for a bit tommorrow! Did the nurses encourage you to take breaks and swap each other out for awhile? I understand how stressful being in the hospital with an ill child can be. Did you have family to stay with her? I used to work peds and have had my own child in the hospital a few times. It is tiring! DH and I would swap out every 4 hours for breaks to go home and shower and nap. (That was when DS was stuck in the ER for 3 days awaiting a transfer). Hopefully there is never a next time.

| MY dd kayla ended up in the hospital last year due to dehydration.....in on thursday and out on sunday......poor thing had that rhoto virus (thas a MEAN one) and 3 days in the hospital was NO fun  : :glad you guys are home

| I'm so glad your DD is back home and feeling well enough to attend school tomorrow for half a day. Sending some more to her and I'm glad for you that your DH has gone back to work.
