| She's 14 now. Today was DD's 14th birthday. This is the first year I did not give her a birthday party (at her request) and did not do a big present for her. WDW in two weeks is her present/party. However, the biggest thing I am working through is that I was only able to spend a total of 1 hour with her today. We visited for 15 minutes before she left for school and I left for work this morning. Then after school/work, we had a 45 minute drive for me to take her to my DBFF's house so she could babysit early tomorrow morning. Tomorrow I will pick her up to take her to lunch with my DMom and my DUncle that is visiting from Minnesota. I did give her a small gift today. She got a Passporter pin to add to her pin collection. She wore it to school and the DBFF's today.

| Happy Birthday to your DD!! My DD's birthday was yesterday too (she turned 19)!! Glad you got to spend a bit of time together yesterday and hope you enjoy your time together today. This is the first year I haven't spent time with my DD on her special day as she is away at college, so I know how you feel about not spending time with her. Things definately change as they get older! Just think of all the special time you with have in a few weeks at WDW celebrating her birthday!!

| Happy Birthday to your dd! My dd turns 9 the day after we get home from Disney and WDW is her "big" gift also. She will be having a small celebration, but not a full out party this year...
