| What are you doing for Valentine's Day? DBF asked me last night what I wanted to do for Valentine's Day. I don't think we have ever really done anything, so it surprised me. I have plans with my mom during the day, but I think we might go to a movie which is something we rarely do since I never have much free time. So how are you celebrating Valentine's Day? |

| We're celebrating the night before by having 2 other couples over for dinner. We're having an Italian dinner with appetizers, Italian salad, crusty bread with EVOO & balsamic vinegar dipping sauce, grilled fillets marinated in red wine and garlic, side of ziti with a bechamel sauce, followed by chocolate covered strawberries and vanilla bean ice cream. We are really looking forward to it.

Everyone's Valentine's Day Plans sound like great fun. I hope you all enjoy your Valentine's Day! We're staying in and watching he NFL Follies Marathon, Casablanca, Lady and the Tramp, and any other romantic movie we already own. I will either make Speghetti with Chicken Meatballs or Chicken Stuffed Shells with a Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cupcakes or Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcakes for Dessert and maybe make some Chocolate Covered Strawberries(and leave some plain for Skyler) and a box of Fannie May's Chocolate Meltaways(my favorite candy company from Chicago which one of our local grocery stores carries here by us). I was going to also take Skyler out on a Mommy/Son Valentine's Day Date for Lunch somewhere(and let Erick have a little peace and quiet or video game time without us interfering).

| Skyler & I also may take a trip to Build a Bear for a new furry friend for him since he has a Gift card from Santa and a coupon to use too. We also need to get cracking on sending out Valentines to family and picking up a couple boxes of chocolate for his grandparents near us as well as his 2 Aunts and Uncle and Uncle to be from him.

| We're going to buy in some nice food - Marks and Spencer do a meal for £10, including a bottle of wine and we'll have that. We did that last year and it was really nice. ![]()

| Nothing. Lauren has a sleep-over to go to and DH has to work. We're not big V-Day people, although we do send flowers to our DDs who are grown up and away from the house and give small gifts to the ones at home. |

| We have our biggest party of the year for Valentines. We have 58 people coming this year. We have a Pasta dinner and everyone brings one element, cheese bread sauce ect. Then we have games and a Valentine exchange for the kids and a chocolate fountain for dessert. We buy a bunch of balloons from the party store and this place looks like an 80's prom. Gimme a holiday and I'll have a party!

| Valentine's Day is DS's birthday! We celebrate him that day! He is having his birthday party at the laser tag place (about 10 kids). DD has a basketball game that morning as well!
