Here I am, still trying to deal with the fact that we can't go to Disney this year, espeically now that Lenny lost his job. Even if he got a new, higher paying one quickly, I doubt they'd let us take vacation any time this year. So I'm trying to deal with it - and what does Disney do? They send me a PIN code that is so very, very tempting to take them up on. It's for travel through 8/14 of this year with FREE DINING!! It's the quick service plan but I'd upgrade to the regular dining as we like table service. So needless to say, Disney is heartless and I feel like

Aww. Sorry about that. I almost always get pins when I can't use them. It is torture isn't it?

That does it. Disney is definitely cruel. How many others have they done this too?? Depending upon how many people respond, I'm thinking I should rename my thread then to something like, "We, the people, tortured by Disney" (and our families asking to go)

I got the same pin code in my cousins name. She has everything from Disney sent to my address so I see all the pin codes they send her. I was quite shocked! I am going this year as it's our first year on DVC, but I would love a free meal or two as well. Too bad we are exempt.

Sorry to hear you can't vacation this year. You should try and staycation! I recommend getting the state park pass. That allows you to do close day trips and you can use the pass all year. When I worked at our local state park I asked a young boy if they were on vacation. He said we are on a workcation. I said what is that... he said dad is working and we are "cationing"!!!

I am sorry you can't use the pin code. Also that you will not be able to visit WDW ths year.
We all think of WDW as our ""Happy Place"

My daughter also received the same one and was very sad that it was not for our trip in fall.

I agree, these pin codes are torture when you can't take advantage.

I must be the only person on this board who has gone so often and never ONCE received a PIN code.... Hmmm. Oh, well. Sorry you can't use yours.
