Jennifer and Dave are brilliant!

Jennifer and Dave really hit upon something when they devised this "star" system. Why, it has motivated countless individuals to all kinds of behavior. I think they should market this concept to marriage counselors, school psychologists, and probation officers. Think of the good they would do for society if everyone would be working for their next star. Think of how chatty everyone would be, it would be a much kinder, happier world. What to you think?

Re: Jennifer and Dave are brilliant!

I know that Luvnwdwgal and I had a blast racing each other to 1000 posts! My stress melted away as I laughed uncontrollably (and typed as fast as my fingers would let me). I remember in Grade 1 and 2 how excited I would get at the thought of a shiny gold star stuck on my chart by the door. Or when I mastered a difficult piece for my piano lessons and my teacher would stick an extra star on my book to show that she recognized the struggle I had overcome. Yep, I guess I'll do darned near anything for a star

Posts like this are why I come here first thing in the morning: To put a smile on my face and laugh some endorphins into action. Oh, and to get a couple posts closer to another star of my own.

Nope, Don is right, we don't get new stars.

Just don't tell him about the free donuts in the Guide forum!

Tara and I used to be neck and neck, but there was no keeping up with that chatter box! She really left me in the dust.
