Where I live on the shoreline, we have about 18 inches of new snow added to the snow we got over the weekend. It's been a long time since we have had so much snow. I think that every school in the entire state is closed today! How much in your area?
We're up to 14 inches and it's still coming down at a steady rate. We expect about 18 inches at least by the time it stops sometime this evening. Thinking on the positive side, at least we got all got the day off, and the roads should be cleared by tomorrow.
I've been stuck at home for the last 3 days down here in SC!! We had 7" of snow in the wee hours of the morning Monday which was then covered with ice. SC, NC & some of GA have been shut down by this storm.
This is one of the few times when I miss Jersey.
Three days later, they have yet to plow primary roads, forget about secondary roads!!! Since I don't get paid for snow days, I hopped in my rear wheel drive sports car this morning and showed my Floridian DBF my driving skills. Unfortunately, my walking on ice skills stink and we almost bit it a few times walking across the lot to the door!
I hope all you Northerners get plowed out soon! Be careful!
We have at least 18-20 inches, it's still snowing and both myself and my son are home today. I'm supposed to be working from home, but the lure of goofing off is getting to me.
