For anyone who thinks keeping track of Santa on Christmas Eve is a hoot (and doesn't already know about this), NORAD keeps track of him every year.

How cool! I love watching the weatherman on Christmas Eve when he spots something "unusual" on the Doppler radar!!

This is a GREAT site that we've followed for the past few years! It's great incentive to get the kiddos off to bed, too, as Santa approaches North America!

Reminds me of when I was a kid. On Christmas Eve we would look out at the night sky to see if we could see Rudolph's nose.

This site is so much fun! It helps with the magic of Christmas. Even though my kids are teens, we still use this site to get them to bed! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] It helps Santa get ready and have a few hours with Mrs. Claus in peace and quiet on Christmas Eve [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] !

Know what else? Norad has a 1-800 number you can call on Christmas Eve and they'll tell you where Santa's been spotted. Last year one of the tv stations was promoting it and it only took DH 2 times to get through. A Lt. ___ talked to our DS and told him Santa was only about an hour away and he should get to bed soon!

The look on his face was priceless! I'll post the number if I run across it.

I live in the city that is the home of NORAD so I follow this every year. It is a lot of fun.

thanks for the link! my 4-yr-old DD was just asking about this. she had a ball with it last year! (esp. because her aunt lives in england, so she knew exactly when santa was there...) [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
