Took the tree down today. Its always soo sad. I like Mr & Mrs Retireds idea and may look at doing that someday.
I have thought about leaving a tree up all year. decorated for christmas thru january. then decorate Feb with hearts and red ribbon, march with green and st patricks stuff. April would be Easter, May, June July and Aug with Summer things to include Independance day. Sept not sure maybe prolong summer, October would be Halloween , then Nov,Dec for christmas. Course it would have to be a fake tree as I can barely remember to water the real one for 3-4 weeks on a daily basis. I do love haviing the tree though up.
