Earlier this spring, I watched as a little hummingbird sat on her eggs and then watched her feed her newborn chicks. Fascinating. She just finished laying a new set of eggs which are expected to hatch in about two weeks. If you'd like to watch this little bit of nature, here's the link. Enjoy!
So cute! We have 4 little hummingbirds that feed at our house every year. They
will feed when we are outside with them in the back yard and when the dogs
are out there also.
Phoebe's is a GREAT site (not as great as Passporter of course... ) - there is also a chat board and a LOT of info. about her and hummingbirds in general. I've been hooked on that site for several years now and have watched many babies fledge - Thanks for sharing this with everyone! Also, anyone with kids will LOVE this site too - lots to learn and see
