I have a Dooney Disney Sketch bag......is it to early to use it ? When I was "younger", it was white after Memorial Day and up Labor Day. Does that still apply ? I'm not into fashion do and don'ts anymore. I just like to do/wear what I like/want.....but I don't want to look foolish. I'm just really anxious to "take" it out. Please help me with "today's fashion updates". Thanks
It is usually no white sneakers/shoes after labor day until memorial day. and true that, the season's haven't been much at following just that "The Season" so I say go for it..You live only once so Enjoy while we are here...
I used to abide by those dates as well but I think those are pretty antiquated now. Use it whenever you want. Who says you can't....right?? If you love it, use it.
I think I heard them say on What Not To Wear that the no white rule no longer exists! Enjoy that bag!

If I had a D & B Sketch Bag, I would carry it until it was worn out no matter what time of the year it is. I have a feeling it will make you happy all year long. As far as the wearing white between Memorial and Labor Day, I also think that is an archaic bit of fashion etiquette. A couple of the most fashionable women that I know wear white pants even in winter time, and not winter-white. Go for it you'll be glad you did.
