I haven't been on here lately, and thought I'd give you guys a briefing on our latest trip (maybe I also need to recap so it can get my mind off the fact that I've been back to work).
On this last trip, we visited Universal Studios, sailed on the Dream and Visited WDW. It was a blast but of course too short of a visit. It encompassed me (DH age 45), DW Claudine (well, she's 29 again), DS1 Ethan (15) and DS2 Colin (almost 12).
We made the trip to Universal, a first trip for the boys. Claudine and I went here last about 20 years ago (walking out of the park half way through since there wasn't enough). Today, with the addition of Islands of Adventure, we were happy with the 2-day visit. Of course, we spent more time in IOA than US. I liked Spiderman and the Hulk. What took the cake was Dueling Dragons in the pouring rain! The Harry Potter ride was good, but I felt that the advertising for the ride rose the expectations through the roof. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and The Mummy were one of our favorites in US.
We were going to visit Blizzard Beach on the third day, but it looked like it was going to pour that day (so instead we visited Downtown Disney) and of course, it didn't rain!
The next day we drove out to Port Canaveral for the June 10th sailing. We enjoyed the cruise very much which made a double dip at Castaway Cay. There were many pleasant experiences on this trip, to many to mention. We did enjoy the day at sea very much.
Finally, we departed the ship on June 15 and headed for a 4 night stay at Boardwalk. We have not stayed here yet and found it's location to be very convenient to Epcot and Hollywood Studios! One of the best nights occurred on this trip when the boys got to ride Aerosmith's RnR several times. Seeing the smiles on their faces told it all.
Of course being married to a Foodie (WDWJAMBA), we enjoyed Mythos (US), both the Italian restaurants in Epcot, Portobello (DD), Yak and Yucky (AK) and Columbia Harbor House (MK).
Next June, we plan on making the kids first visit to Busch Gardens, WDW (likely staying at Old Key West) and then Vero Beach. I have to think about this trip more and more to get my mind off of where I'm going in less than an hour (work).

Welcome Back! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip and some magical moments! Completely understand the need to talk/write about a trip so that you can get your mind focused on something else.
