How do you know when you've been on a few Disney cruises? When your 9 year old states out of the blue that he wants his own turkey leg on Pirate Night.
As you can tell from our countdown, we have a while before our 5th Disney cruise. but this morning our son started talking about Pirate Night. How he wanted to dress up like Jack Sparrow--he has a pirate costume to wear--and if he could take his inflatable sword to the club--No was my answer--or his inflatable parrot--I said yes to that one.
Then came the pronouncement that he wanted his own giant turkey leg from the Pirate Night buffet. Not share with his dad.
I just smiled. I know exactly where he gets the "planning" from and I'm so happy that he is also Disney dreaming!
That's cute. He sure has learned all he needs to know - have fun, it's okay to dress up and be someone else for the day, and while sharing is okay, it's better to have your own sometimes!
