Anyone else use Flight Tracker?

We use this all the time. My DH's sister and her family are enroute to Disney this morning. The left Manchester, NH at the ungodly hour of 5:45 a.m. They are about to land in Cincinnati of all places. Then it's on to Orlando. I love tracking family and friends flights with this. Do you use it?

Re: Anyone else use Flight Tracker?

I manage a limousine company so I am on it almost every day.
I also use Flightview . They have a feature that lets you see all air traffic over North America at any given time. Pretty cool and scary !

That's awesome Margo! But it does look like the east coast is experiencing gridlock. You're right, scary! Here's the link for Flight Tracker:

Re: Anyone else use Flight Tracker?

Always use flight tracker when DH is traveling. Gotta know where he is, and that he's safe.

Oh yes, and I did use it last fall when my sister went to Russia. Very cool to see when they went into the arctic circle.

Re: Anyone else use Flight Tracker?

I just used both of these and United to track a friend's flight as it landed just now and both were better than United's own site! United says he's still flying but the other two show he's landed. I'd better go pick him up.

Re: Anyone else use Flight Tracker?

What is really neat is the tracker onboard British Airways so you can tell where your really are, particularly when you are crossing the Atlantic at night.

Re: Anyone else use Flight Tracker?

I use it whenever a family member is flying. Once, my sister and her family were coming home from Florida late at night and my Dad was supposed to pick them up at the airport here. I was watching their flight and it landed in NC! I called my Dad and let him know that they may have a delay. 15 minutes later, my sis called from NC to tell Dad that they had engine trouble and would be staying overnight in Charlotte.
