I don't have a favorite book but more like a favorite author. I have read all of Nelson DeMille's books and can't wait for the next. Mayday and Spencerville were a couple of his best in my opinion.
Do I have to pick just one??? I'm a book fiend & love to read.
If I have to pick it would be "Alex, the life of a child" by Frank Deford. I read it many years ago, not knowing who Frank Deford was (he is a sports journalist) & I could not put it down.. I know it's not a usual favorites choice for books but that book has stayed with me forever.
Another book that lasted with me is "Suzannes diary for Nicholas" by James Patterson.. I loved how it kept you guessing what was going on until the end.
Both of those books will never leave my library shelf
My favorite authors are Patricia Cornwell (love her Scarpetta series), Janet Evanovich, and Kerrelyn Sparks. However going nostalgic, my all time favorite book is Charlotte's Web.
Growing up, it was a little golden book, Hiram's Red Shirt. I still have it and never let my kids touch it. I have always read it to them.
As an adult, I'd say the one or two books I've read over and over are Angela's Ashes and The Dirt (Motley Crue Bio)
