We have three vehicles. A 2008 Ford F-250 Diesel monstrosity, a 2006 Honda Accord, and a 2008 Ford Ranger pick up truck. We are getting rid of two of them in the next couple of months and getting two Suburu Outbacks.
2007 - Chrysler Town & Country - we bought it new and got the lifetime bumper-to-bumper warranty for almost nothing so we will drive it until it croaks.
We've had bad luck with our cars lately, engine went out in DH's car and transmission went out in mine. Both cars were 2005 and reaching 100,000 miles, so we decided to trade both cars in. DH now has a 2012 Ford F150 XLT and I have a 2010 Ford Edge Limited.
My husband drives a 2004 Chevy Aveo. A teeny tiny little car that we bought used after he was in a car accident and his 2000 Hyundai Elantra was totaled. We needed something with good gas mileage since he had a hefty commute to and from work (which he has since lost that job and is now unemployed.... )
We are quite the Hyundai family. We love the cars and have continued buying. We've had a 1999 Accent, a 2000 or 2001 (I can't remember which year they came out) Santa Fe, a 2000 Elantra and now the 2008 Tucson. My parents love them too -- they've had a 2000 Elantra and now have a 2006 (?) Entourage (mini-van).
