disneystore delivery disappointment

I ordered a few things back on November 10th from the Disneystore on line. I do this several times a year. I have yet to receive my order and I am have called and gotten this hooha about it taking 7-9 days for orders... well its been over 10days now. This is my second call to the store and I have to say I really don't like just getting the partyline answer of having a magical day and that they apologise that my order is taking so long to arrive. I love ordering from the Disneystore and am just frustrated that this order would take sooooo long to get arrive. So she told me that I will see my order today or Friday. She actually said tomorrow( but that is not possible) The mail has already come today so today is out.
Has anyone else had this problem with Disneystore orders?

I don't order from them that often, but I have found that it usually takes longer than I think it will. However, I order a single item on Nov 1, it shipped on Nov 2 and was delivered by UPS on Nov 6.

Are you sure it's coming by mail, not UPS?

I have a habit of tracking my orders from the Disney Store. They too, always come UPS. I have never had any problem with them.

Remember, when they say it will take "7-9 days" or whatever, it is 7-9 BUSINESS days, not just days period. The weekends don't count and neither do any holidays. So today has actually been 7 business days from when you placed your order on the 10th. (Taking out weekends and Nov 12, which was Veteran's Day)

UPS

They ship UPS not USPS. When your order is shipped they send you a shipment notification with a tracking number in it. Just click on the link in the email and check the tracking of your package to see where it is right now. It may have nothing to do with the Disney store. It may be UPS taking so long for it to get to you.

But like someone else said, today is just now the 7th business day since you ordered it. Sometimes it takes a few days to process and get shipped and shipping is not 2nd day air. It is ground and it takes more than a few days sometimes to get to you.

I'm sorry it's taking such a long time to process and ship out your order. I'm hoping that your order will arrive soon!

I just placed an online order with the DisneyStore.com on November 8th and it was shipped out on November 10th. My package arrived on November 14th via ground UPS. I had no problems with that order.

Yes, I just had to deal with an issue. I preordered the limited ed Merida and Elinor doll set. My credit card was charged. The online invoice stated that the doll set and Brave Bluray and lithograph set all shipped out Nov. 9th. Received Bluray pack last Friday, but where was the VERY expensive doll set? I waited, thinking that it might still show up. It was 12 days out. I called last night, and the associate couldn't find it.

It allegedly shipped the 9th, but there is no sign of it. The tracking number for the doll set doesn't show any info when you plug it into UPS tracking. It says a label was created and that's it. The online associate left me listening to music for a while, and when she came back she said they would ship me another doll immediately and try to expedite shipping since I'd been waiting 12 days already.
Obviously, what with Thanksgiving, I probably won't get it for a few more days.

If I hadn't called, I would have never received doll. I'm lucky it hasn't sold out yet--only 2500 dolls. Otherwise, I'd have missed out, and it wouldn't have been my fault. My husband thinks they never shipped it. Either that, or UPS lost it. If it's lost, then only 2499 dolls exist. Haha.

I have never had trouble before, but I've only ordered twice before. This was a very expensive doll, so I am a bit perturbed that this occurred.

Hope you receive your stuff, but keep at them. Don't let 'em off the hook. The associate tried telling me same nonsense about 7-9 days even after she initially saw that my order was over that.

I ordered some things earlier this month and they took longer to get than expected as well. I knew they shipped when my DH asked what I'd bought from them and got the box in the next 1-2 days.
Has your card been charged yet?
I'm also still waiting on the 30th anniversary shirt I bought, but know that is supposed to be 6-8 weeks.

I'm thinking it could just be the time of year. I didn't order anything from the Disney Store but I did order stuff from Amazon. They sent me an email stating I would get my stuff by whatever the date was and when that day came and went with no delievery, I checked on the tracking number - and the stuff hadn't even been picked up yet. I did finally get my order but it was at least a week after I should have originally gotten it.

Once Nov. 1st hits UPS does not guarantee delivery times. It could be a disney store issue or a UPS issue.

So the update on my order. I still have not received and it was most definately Disney slowness to get the order shipped. I ordered it on the 10th, they processed it on the 13th. I called them on them on the 21st and requested to know when I would get the order, the person I spoe with said by friday. They actually charged my card on friday ( the 23rd) and shipped it the 25th. It is currently in Knoville,TN.... and should arrived on to me on the 29th. Now I placed an ordered with Kohls on the 21st, it shipped on the 23rd, I should see it tomorrow.
I suspect that Disney may be having some Warehouse issues,like not enough staff to handle the orders coming in.......or my order got misplaced somehow. Anyway... I should finally see it Thursday. Thanks for listening to me whine

The only problem I have had was with UPS not with the store, I ordered costumes for me and my nephew and UPS delivered it to someone else and LOST THE PACKAGE, I called the Disney Store since UPS wouldn't help me and Disney Store resent me what I had ordered and even sent it overnight since I was using them for my Disney vacation which was about 4 days away at that point. Check your tracking number and see where it is with UPS
