In our "younger years" DH would take us out to "find our tree". It seems he always picked the coldest night of the year to do it. We now have an artifical.

I hate the smell of pine so we always have a fake tree. Actually the past few years we've only been using the treetop on a table instead of the full tree because of limited space. It's just DH and myself and we don't entertain over the holidays anyway so it's fine with us. Plus less trouble to get into this year with our 21 month old granddaughter running around everyday that I babysit.

We use an artificial tree. We bought it years ago (maybe eight years now ) and it cost a fortune, but it was a great investment.

We have artificial trees. I put
My tree up and decorate the weekend after Halloween and there's not any real trees that would last that long. I hate having to remember to water them and sweeping up pine needles every few days. I have a few pre-lit artificial trees and prefer them.

We've always done real trees. We've never cut one down ourselves, we just get it from a local garden center.

Artificial. I've never had a real tree. I don't know, it seems like a lot of work to maintain it.

Luke is allergic to evergreen trees so we have an artificial tree. It has been up since last Friday.

We've always done a real tree, and we used to go cut our own. I've been lobbying for a fake pre lit one for a few years now, so we are trying it out this year. I got a thirty dollar one at Target on Black Friday. So far so good!

Artificial, but haven't put them up for a few years - would have to clear all the junk out of the way to make room for them!

Alas, we ended going with an artifical tree about 3 years ago. My dh's income was cut by over half and we couldn't afford the cost of real trees so we found an artifical for $20 and bought it.

Artificial, pre-lit tree. I love the smell of real trees. Growing up, we'd have both. Artificial in the family room with all the ornaments. Real in the living room with gingerbread men. The real was potted and at the end of Christmas, we would plant the tree in our yard.

I'd love to have a real tree, but my husband is doesn't like the mess and is afraid of it catching on fire.

I have a real Christmas tree. It is not one that I kill or buy killed or plant after the holiday but it is a real Christmas tree.
