They are predicting 16-24 inches of snow between Friday night and Saturday . It is the 35th anniverary this week of the blizzard of "78". I hope that this storm is not as bad as that one.

I'm a product of the blizzard of 78...and I also don't believe we will get anywhere near what they predict.

I've heard too many things to even know what's going to happen

Lenny called me at work and said WBZ said Blizzard. When he came home, weather channel on the computer was only calling it a Nor'easter (and it's even named - Winter Storm Nemo - but I just have to wonder where winter storms a thru m hit) with our area only getting 6 to 12 inches of snow

I've heard it will start tomorrow night, Friday night, and even Friday afternoon - I still have no idea when it will start

Mom said some of her customers were saying we'll get 15 to 26 inches - which is a lot more than what Lenny saw on the weather channel (see above) - So I figure we'll get anywhere from nothing at all to a couple of feet.

I guess when all is said and done, we'll know what it was and how much it dumps on us. And it still blows my mind that nowadays with all this fancy equipment they use, weather forecasters were right more often than not when the didn't have the fancy stuff (last 3 storms for my area were suppose to have accumulation - all we got was a very light dusting each time).
