What is your favorite thing about where you live?

I have family nearby.

I feel safe here. Plus, it's a great place to raise kids.

Feel truly like part of the community. Lots of opportunities for performing arts, community college, parks, and a hospital. I know that others are looking out for our son, just like we are!

I live in a very small town with little to no crime. Thomas Edison was born here and you can visit his birthplace as well as several other museums. Our "town" consists of one block of shops with a beautiful old gazebo and statue of Thomas Edison as a boy with his mother. If you happen to see the square on a day with no cars around, you would swear you were back in the 1800's. On the other hand, a 15-30 minute drive will take you to Kalahari, Cedar Point and the Lake Erie Shoreline where you can take a boat out and visit the various islands.

I don't have to drive through 100 miles of rush hour traffic to get home

I live at sea level but am surrounded by mountains. I love being able to see both major peaks and both ranges. That does require the clouds to lift though.

Probably where it's located - half an hour to the Channel Tunnel, 40 minutes to Gatwick, an hour to Heathrow and an hour to central London, so perfectly placed for travelling and visiting. It doesn't hurt that we live in a lovely, quiet area on the edge of town - the town has really good facilities and we're only 20 minutes from one of Europe's biggest shopping centres, that also has a Disney Store...

600 metres to the beach, bus route at the end of the street and only 20 minutes to get to work. Love it.

My family is close, the schools are great, safe community to raise children.

I can't choose just one.

Great weather (overall). We get all four seasons, but Winter is short, and Spring and Fall last a good while, though Summer is the longest.

Diverse community with a lot of things a big city would have but in a smaller size.

I live in Savannah - one of the most beautiful historical cities in the country AND we have the beach nearby. It's perfect for me! But I think my absolute favorite thing is the weather - not too cold, then warm, then HOT. Again, perfect for me!

The best thing I can think of is my familiarity with the area. I have lived here all my life and know most everything about the area. Its certainly not the weather or the economy because both are terrible here...still.
