Do any of your guys sew at all? I'm in need of a mentor to help me create a costume for August--I'm OK with sewing, I just want a steady hand to mentor me through. I've sort of taken on a really huge project (a can-can dress and a corset!), and I realize I've bitten off more than I can chew. If there's anyone who wants to share cool life skills with me, I would love any and all "hands-on" advice!

I sew, but am in no way an expert. I have made my girls' Halloween costumes every year and sometimes make them dresses.

I live in Gurnee.

My sister teaches sewing, quilting, etc and is moving from NY to Chicago late spring/early summer of 2004.
