| Do you know where YOUR belly button is?! So my youngest daughter is 3 and she is in my bedroom bath area with me while I was straightning up this morning. She is doing her usual singing about everything around her when she screamed (literally) and I see her bending over and picking up something. She stands up...still can't see what she has....and runs over to me crying. She opens her hand and says "MY BELLY BUTTON FELL OUT!!!!" She has one of Harley's shirt buttons in her hand. I am DYING and trying to get to the digital camera....no one will ever believe this story. She has yanked her shirt up and is now trying to push the button back in the "hole that it left when it fell out". She pushes and pushes and is getting more hysterical by the minute ....I'm still snapping away. She has a moment of pure hysteria....she just bends her head back and lets loose with this wail. Then all of a sudden it stops. She has tears all over her face but she looks at me and says "This isn't my belly button.....it's daddy's. Will you take it to him? He might miss it." Then she runs off singing. If I can figure out how to post the pictures I will. I'm still in shock that it happened....it's the absoulte funniest thing that any of my kids have ever done. I can't wait to take this button to Harley and let him see the pics and tell him the tale!! |
