Spell check What is the one typo that YOU do that makes you so angry? Is it an always misspelled word, wrong syllable? For me, it always seems that I capitalize the first 2 letters of my sentence starter words.. for example... THis is my name.. I hate it when I see it in e-mails I've sent, etc.. & I do this bad habit quite often. The misspelled words I have ( which I'm sure are a lot) don't bother me quite so much! Okay.. next confession....

Re: Spell check I almost always add a "t" on the end of words like tough, enough, laugh. Drives me crazy because I'm a trained secretary! And transposing the letters in the word "the". Quite often I get "teh".

Re: Spell check I tend to blend words together and then seperate them wrong. For example: Theys aid instead of They said. I usually catch it, but it could change the meaning if I'm not careful! Another misspelling I ALWAYS do at work is the word "conscious". I have a mental block against that word, forgetting a c or an s all the time. And as a paramedic, that word is in EVERY SINGLE REPORT I write!

Re: Spell check I constantly misspell my name when I sign it on emails! Instead of Valerie, people get Vaeleri or valeir. Don't quite no why...I promise I know how to spell my name! ...well except my middle name. When I was filling out job applications, I caught myself spelling my middle name a million different ways. I don't even know how it is spelled on my birth certificate

Re: Spell check I have always had trouble with the whole i before e thing. Might be the fact that I learned it with Sister Theresa breathing down my neck while slapping a ruler against her palm . I also type teh instead of the.

Re: Spell check It's the they're, there, theirs that usually get me into trouble if I'm in a hurry or not paying attention. I end up with "There going over there to pickup there toys" instead of "They're going over there to pickup their toys" .
