| A major step forward I've made some major improvements with my ankle this week. Monday saw my final physiotherapy session and for the last two days, I haven't used my crutch at all, although no-one at work even noticed until I told them yesterday.  Just as well, as it'll be two months tomorrow since my accident - the healing process has certainly taken some time  but now I feel I'm getting back to normal again. I think it'll still be a while before I'm wearing shoes with heels on them again though.          |

| Re: A major step forward That's great Cheryl  I gave up heels too  They were tearing up my calves and starting to affect my balance  Besides, I was having a hard time finding a pair that matches my uniform  |

| Re: A major step forward I'm glad your ankle is doing much better!! Heck, it might be longer than you think before you can wear anything with heels!! I went thru some therapy for my ankle in 2000 and I still can't wear a heel! good luck and lots of  for continued 'heeling'   |
