Re: Not a peanut butter question, a milk question.

Skim- a gallon a day (me and DH)
Chocolate - about a gallon a day (6 and 11 yr. olds)
whole - gallon every 3 days +/- (Samantha only) (okay, sometimes I cook with it - mash potatoes and mac and cheese are better with whole milk)

We buy 15 gallons a week about.

Re: Not a peanut butter question, a milk question.

DS used to drink a lot of it, but he's really slowed down (and now thankfully eating more solid food and putting on weight). We only go thru about a half gallon to a gallon a week, and I was buying whole milk for DS. I can probably switch to 2% now.

Milk? For me or the office? I work for the Dairy Assocation so I buy milk for the office every week...one Fat Free and one 2% for me I buy 1/2 % about once every 4 or 5 days.

I thought my 5-6 gallons a week was a lot - Teresa - you must have a special "milk" budget to be able to buy that much

Re: Not a peanut butter question, a milk question.

Maybe a gallon of skim a week. We aren't home but for one meal a day, so it lasts a while. Also we usually get 1/2 gallon of chocolate for Jalen.

Re: Not a peanut butter question, a milk question.

For the 3 of us(dh and ds age 4) I buy 2 gallons and that lasts maybe 6 days if I am lucky! I buy the freshest milk between 2% and 1%. I prefer 1% though! Oh, and I usually have some chocolate milk too! Not for ds but for dh.
