How many photographs... ...do you usually take on one trip? Digital or film? On our last trip, we took 458 pictures over 6 days...or an average of 76 pictures a day! And we use digital.

Re: How many photographs... We take primarily digital pictures, but we take our "film" camera just incase something goes wrong with the digital camera!!! Lets see . . . in Dec. 03 we took about 850, in Oct. 04 we took 700-something and in January, we took almost 650 . . . I guess my answer could best be summed up with A LOT!!! ![]()

Re: How many photographs... A picture taking question.... I take a lot!! We spent a week in Decenber (the 17 through thru 24) and I took close to 1500 while Jan took about another 500. All were digital, we don't use film anymore. We both carry 2 cameras with us in case something happens to our primary camera....

Re: How many photographs... I keep a record of this stuff, so the numbers are easy for me to look up, back to 1999 when I got my 35mm camera. I came home from MouseFest 2004 with 373 pics shot over 6 days. 19 are film, the rest digital. I came home from MF03 with 652 pics shot over 8 days, all digital (I left my film camera at home). In September 2002 I shot 113 pics over 4 days, all film (had no digital camera then). In June of 2002 I shot 439 pics over 10 days. In Sept 2001 I shot 546 pics over 10 days. In Oct 2000 I shot 252 pics over 7 days. In April 1999 I shot 254 pics over 5 days.

Re: How many photographs... I take a ton as well. Our Jan trip (6 days) had me bringing home just over 500. I normally average between 500-600 photos for each trip, depending on the length of the trip and what we are doing. I get home each time though and when I'm putting the scrapbook together, and think....Oh man, I should've gotten a picture of this or that too. We're on digital now. When I used to take my 35mm, I'd take 2-3 rolls a day.

Re: How many photographs... I'm not certain how many photos we took on our 17 day trip in December, but I came home with a full 512 mb card, and we were well into our 128 mb card. Digital camera, moderate quality setting. It's between 800-1000 photos.

Re: How many photographs... I still use my old 35mm...it just takes such great pictures. One day I will get a digital camera. I don't know, we usually take around 100 or so.

Re: How many photographs... In our house, the number of pictures taken (on a trip or not) have dramatically increased once we got a digital camera. We love the freedom to just snap and delete the mistakes without having to pay for each mistake. For Christmas 2003, we got an Olympus c-750. Love it but we are still learning to take consistently good pictures. Low light and low light at a distance are my challenges.

Re: How many photographs... Last trip(Feb 2004) I took about 320 in 5 days. I had just gotten my digital camera for Christmas. In previous trips, with my 35MM I used to take about 8-10 rolls of film.

[/ QUOTE ] I also have the 750 Nancy, I upgraded from the 720, and I really, really it. Make sure you have the latest firmware upgrade, it does resolve the auto-focus problem and helps some with the low-light issue...The only "real" solution to the low light issue is a 'good' flash with a decent focus light. The Olympus flashes run $400 plus... I'm looking around for a suitable substitute... |
