Making lists

How many people make lists before doing anything? i.e. housework, vacation, packing.
If so do you really stick to them or change things as you go?

I make a list for just about everything, DH thinks I am nuts in some cases, but I inherited it from my mother who does it all the time.
I try to stick close to it but sometimes i have to change a few things, especially my packing lists when we go on vacation.

Re: Making lists

I make lists all the time.
When I am really deep cleaning the house, I not only make a list of what needs to be done, in the order it needs done in, I also list the amount of time I think it will take to do it. And, then how long it actually took. THe difference is MY time.

Re: Making lists

I make lists all of the time, too. The only bad thing for me is I usually forget my grocery list when I go shopping, so I end up buying way too much!

Re: Making lists

The worst thing is when I make a grocery list and then leave it at home. I make tons of lists prior to a vacation.

Re: Making lists

I make lists of my lists.
Seriously, I couldn't get anything accomplished without first writing it down.

Packing, grocery shopping, anything else, I always make a list. It helps keep me on track on from not getting distracted. :-)

Re: Making lists

I'm another "list of lists maker"! Although, I don't usually make a list for food shopping!
