Cool! I bought the WDW monorail for DH; he wants to incorporate it into his model train layout in the bonus room. I don't think we'll be riding ours though!

Too funny!! I once saw this guy on the Discovery Channel who built rollercoasters in his backyard and he and his family would try them out

My DH says normal people do not have roller coasters, carousels, and monorails in their yards when I ask him if I can do that.

Think I could get away with a go-cart track?

hmmmm, that depends Chrissi! Does your husband have a belief system that allows you to be normal? If so, then no. Which is a bummer. So make sure his belief system has you firmly in the UN-normal(non-normal) category and Voila! Autopia!
