| It Starts....... The snowman construction, that is!!! It is not unusual for us to have our first snowstorm this time of year, but we got so spoiled this fall - summer lasted well into the month of October, which NEVER happens! The snowplow just drove by my house, and I'm still looking at leaves (albeit colored) on my trees!!! They are usually gone by Columbus Day! Sarah happily skipped dance class (cancelled - jackknived tractor trailer closed down the road!) and put on her snow suit for the first time this year - and built herself a snowman! We don't have a ton yet - about 3 inches - but it is coming down! Pixies for a lot of snow tonight - we've got an early release day tomorrow - I'd rather have the WHOLE day off!! (We don't get out early - got to work on IDEA case studies in the afternoon!) Hello Wilma - I'm glad to see you!  |

| Re: It Starts....... How awesome is that!?! I really like the fall and winter months. I especially love the first snow of the season. Enjoy your snowfall and good luck for a day off tomorrow. | Re: It Starts....... Oh Marie I don't want the snow to start yet!!!! Down south from you it's still just raining. This fall has been so warm and I am still looking at green leaves which is so weird for the end of October. Usually at least one ski area opens on Halloween so I wonder if that will happen this year.  |
