| Trick or treat? I know a lot of you can't answer this yet, but here's one for later.... how many trick or treaters did you get this year? Well, it's now 9.00 and hopefully we won't see anymore - just four this year, although three of those turned up in a 10 minute spell as we were trying to eat dinner! | Re: Trick or treat? To tell you the truth, I am surprised we haven't had any yet . . . and it is only 3:45 here!!! I'm betting we'll have a few (real) little ones in about an hour . . . then around 6:30 or so, we're going to take Emilie out for a bit. |

Re: Trick or treat? We had one.. But atleast we had one! I love giving out candy and I thought being in an apt. complex would bring them out... but we're in the very back of the complex....so I guess that kept them away

Re: Trick or treat? We had about 40 or 50. I started handing out candy, but DH finished so we're not quite sure how many there were. It was a nice night with temps in the 50's and that brought them out. Liz

Re: Trick or treat? We've had 14. Only half of them have even been dressed up!!! We had a ninja, a fairy princess, Freddie Krueger, a little (and I mean LITTLE) Grim Reaper, 2 kids that looked like they were in a car wreck and a girl that looked like she could have been dressed as a femal Ashton Kutcher . . . or Britney Spears . . . either way, it was a funky costume! Good thing is that I now have about 150 pieces of candy IN ADDITION to Emilie's bucketful!!!

Re: Trick or treat? 7:30 here. We've had about 75 kids. DGrndsn (he's 15) asked if he could come out and help us (there are also 2 cute girls across the street!). So, we stopped at KFC for dinner and have gone through a big bag of candy. It's slowed down a bunch (opps, doorbell just rang!) and we are watching my favorite Polterguist!!! What a great holiday!!!

Re: Trick or treat? Looks like I am the winner here, we probably had about 200 kids!!! We bought about 540 pieces of candy and gave out 2 to each kid (270 kids), we have about half a bag left so minus about 70 kids and you get 200!!! We live in a "good" neighborhood in Philadelphia that is all rowhomes which makes it easy for the kids to trick or treat, not so much walking so alot of kids from the singles around the corner come here too. My neighborhood is also loaded with kids without any "outsiders" coming in. I took the kids trick or treating while DH worked so my DSIL came over and gave out candy for me.
