Disney Gift Cards

I am posting this in the "Making More Magic" Forum which is where it probably should be but this forum gets so much more action so I am posting it here as well.

When we were at the Contemporary in August they had just started the Disney Gift Cards. At the time they told us they were only good for a short period of time. I was so disappointed because I was hoping to get them for the boys for our March and August trips next year. I contacted WDW by e-mail just to inquire about them as I would love to get them for the boys for Christmas and this was the reply:

"Dear Dianne Cook,

Re: Disney Gift Cards

I saw those when we were there and thought it'd be a great idea for someone with a trip planned.

Dang! That is some expensive shipping, though! I got a Disney Store Gift card mailed to me and they sent it regular mail.

Anyway, great gift idea.
