| Thumbs up for new tame M:S! Maureen(statelady01) & Lynn(Offkilterdisneymom)called me last night so that I could let everyone know that it was debuting sooner than we thought, but Tammy(Ladyt) beat them to the punch! How'd ya do it?
Anyways, they called me back today and so far have ridden it 4 times! Maureen couldn't put it into words but she loves the new version and says it's still pretty realistic even without the G-forces. You still have a great storyline , but with none of the pressure and no worries of getting queasy.
Personally I'm glad Disney is offering an alternative. After the 2 deaths, I pretty much swore off of the ride.
Now I'm happy to say I'll be goin' back to Mars in a little over 2 weeks! |

| Re: Thumbs up for new tame M:S! Yea!!! I am so glad. I miss out on a lot of the cool stuff because of my stomach. This is one I really wanted to do, because of the history involved in it of the space exploration, since I grew up with the "space age." I can't wait to try it in a few weeks. | Re: Thumbs up for new tame M:S! They have 2 versions now. The same old spinning, G-force version and the new version which does not spin and has no G-force. Glad to hear they liked it! |

| Re: Thumbs up for new tame M:S! Thanks so much for posting this, Angie. I'm so excited that the experience is still good. I wouldn't even think of doing the g-force ride due to motion sickness, so I'm so psyched I can try it this way and still get a fun experience! |

| Re: Thumbs up for new tame M:S! I don't get the point of complaining - they still have 2! working regular centrifuges
I'd think they'd keep 3 on "normal" mode and use the one for "silent running" |

| Re: Thumbs up for new tame M:S! I'm so glad to hear from a source that's ridden it firsthand that the tamed down version of Mission Space is enjoyable. I've always wanted to try this attraction but, since I don't do the spinning thing at all well, it was always out of the question. Now I'll be able to give it a whirl (no pun intended) on our next trip.

| Re: Thumbs up for new tame M:S! Thanks for the report Angie! Glad to hear that the other version of MS may be tame but is not lame.
Now I can try it! This new version will allow me to go on MS and not do what my DNephew did when he came off of it. (hurl in the bushes) |
