The Living Seas

What is the status of this attraction? We were at WDW in 9/05 and it was closed, has it reopened? Thanks

Re: The Living Seas

it is opened, yes. however the planned refurbishment was not completed (may not be until late this year) so it's possible it might close again. as of the moment, the exit is used as the entrance.

Re: The Living Seas

plus well, it puts me to sleep!

there's nothing that interests me or draws me to living seas simply because there's much better aquariums done- ie Shedd, brookfield Zoo, etc. right now, it's just an nemofest
an literal one! everything is about nemo nemo nemooooo!
nothing against the cute fish, it's just overdone.

Re: The Living Seas

This was closed when we were there last October and my girls were so disappointed. They're both obsessed with Nemo, so if it's closed this year I'm really going to be upset.

Re: The Living Seas

No - I don't think they have plans on closing the Living Seas as a whole. You enter through the old exit and can get right into the pavilion.

What's still under construction is the entryway, the movie theatre and the old hydrolators.

If Nemo isn't your thing (although you should suck it up to see Turtle Talk because Crush is hysterical and the technology is eye-popping and mind-blowing!), the main tank and the manatees are still wonderful to spend time gazing into.
