(2) more EMH questions

During the evening EMH's, are they set to be 3 hours or does it differ by park? And, if you want to go to the EMH (evenings only), do you have to go to the park during the day? Or, can you just show up when the extra evening hours begin? What is the best strategy? Thanks!

Re: (2) more EMH questions

1. Yes, they are always 3 hours in the PM.

2. If you have park hoppers, you can spend the day at one park and go to EMH at a different park at night. If you DON"T have park hoppers, and want to use EMH, then that is the only park you can go to that day.

All the EMH info can be found on www.disneyworld.com and in the 2006 Passporter book. You may want to have it onhand during your trip and for the rest of your planning.

Have fun!

Re: (2) more EMH questions

As to what time to arrive at the EMH park -

It depends on how much you expect to get done during those three hours. Since this program is open free of charge to all Disney resort guests, it's usually pretty crowded, especially since all those people are already in the park (as opposed to morning EMH which doesn't have as many lines).

I wouldn't arrive at the park at EMH time unless you just want to experience that particular park late at night, or unless you just really need a little extra time to sneak in a few more attractions during your visit (like me, a definite park commando!).

Plus, if you arrive at EMH beginning time, which is also park closing time, then you're going to be fighting your way through all those people who are leaving, who don't qualify for EMH or just don't know about it or don't want to participate. Remember, at all parks except Animal Kingdom, park closing time means a show or parade has just finished and lots of people call it a day at that point and hit the exits.

I'm rambling, so in summary, if you're wanting to visit a park just for EMH, time your arrival so that you enter the park before that end-of-the-day show or parade finishes.
