Tell me about Tevas I know I've seen them mentioned on the boards before but I can't find it. I have a real problem with my feet sweating - socks and tennis shoes are not an option - so would these help? I looked at their website and I'm overwhelmed. Whats the difference between a $50 pair and $80 pair? Is there any certain product feature I should look for?

Re: Tell me about Tevas I love Tevas but I can't tell you what the difference without seeing the exact shoes. Usually it's the sole/arch that's more developed.

| Re: Tell me about Tevas I can tell you from a person who wears a size wide that there is definatley a difference. Your best bet is to find a store that sells them and try them on. Some pairs are a bit wider than others.
The "Vang" ones I feel are more for boating. I see these in many of the boating magaizines and catalogs that we get. They also have a light colored sole so as not to scuff the boat.
I have the Vangs as well as another pair (but I don't know what style they are) and I wear them religiously. Not only do I have wide feet but I have flat feet and a heel spur. I walked around WDW for 8 days and never once had a problem with my feet while wearing my Tevas. They also kept my feet nice and cool.
I believe if you go to www.teva.com you can type on your zip code and find a store near you that sells them. Basically any type of sporting good store, a store that sells surfing type stuff and boating stores sell them. |

Re: Tell me about Tevas I have Nike Straprunners, but they were still about $45 dollars. Worth every penny, as I hadn't ever wore them until I got to WDW, and wore them 10 days straight, no blisters, very comfortable. I'd highly recommend them

Re: Tell me about Tevas I have Tevas, Chacos and Birkenstocks. I wear my Birks at WDW religiously (perhaps a revolt from when I was a cast member giving tours in "black pumps with a 1" defined heel and pantyhose) and Tevas or Chacos if it is wet. Find an outdoors store (hiking/camping) and try out some sandals. Any of the above brands are great and also look at Merrill. Good Luck!

Re: Tell me about Tevas I agree that you should find someplace that sells them and try them on. As far as knock offs go, you get what you pay for - I've made that mistake before. The main difference is the straps underside aren't finished as nice (rubs your foot) and the sole isn't as cushy. My favorite sandals right now are by Dunham - available at New Balance stores.

Re: Tell me about Tevas Love my Tevas! Wouldn't go to WDW without them. I bought a pair from the less expensive end of the line. I think they were on sale because they were black and orange, which I am sure isn't a big seller. But, I wouldn't care what color they are - they save my feet at WDW.

Re: Tell me about Tevas I started off wearing my tennis shoes last year and had blisters on every one of my toes and several other places on my feet. I had seen people wearing both Tevas and Crocs, so we went on a mission to find something better for my feet. I can't stand the look of Crocs and didn't see how they would be comfortable, so I ended up with Tevas. My feet were great the rest of the trip.

Re: Tell me about Tevas Check out discount shoe stores that carry name brands. We have Rack Room Shoes here - I've bought Tevas and Columbia hiking sandals there for $30. Cheaper than the sporting goods stores - a bit more than the knock-offs, but worth it for the genuine article.
