| Do ya think I\'m strange??
Because the closer my trip gets I'm thrilled but yet I'm also kinda sad. DH doesn't feel the way I do about Disney but I'm working on him. Just thinking about leaving the World to come back home makes me sad. Is that weird or what? I love the planning and there are no words to describe how I feel once I'm in WDW, but now my planning is done and I'm just waiting for time to pass and then...........it'll be all over [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/cry.gif[/img] [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/cry.gif[/img] |

i know exactly what you mean. my family keeps saying, "Two weeks from now we'll be in Disney" and all I keep thinking is "Three weeks from now it will all be over." Oh well. Looks like we'll be there at the same time. I hope we all have good weather and a great time. | |

I know how you feel. I do the same thing every trip. My husband and I have a deal, though; before we leave on our trip, we decide on the dates for our next jaunt to WDW. Anissa...I know exactly how you feel. You work so hard to plan this amazing WDW vacation and then before you know it, the vacation has come and gone. I still have awhile to countdown, but I have already found myself sad because I know that it will be over all too soon. | |

You are not strange, it is sad to leave DW. We always wish we could stay just a little bit longer.
Try not to dwell on leaving though, since you haven't even left yet, just think how much fun you are going to have.
Just imagine how sad all of us are knowing you're going without us.

You're not strange. I love the planning and the excitement that goes in to it and then it is over. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] My hubby doesn't want to go back for a while, and we are actually thinking about Canada next year. I sure will miss planning that Disney vacation. But, I'll immerse myself into planning a great Canadian adventure.

you are not strange! We are all happy people who love going "home"...The planning the trip and the wait for the next visit are all important and normal to those of us who love Disney so very much. So no you are not strange, you are just normal like the rest of us, those who don't "get it" and love MM as much as we do are the strange ones, they don't let their inner child come out and be free!!!!!
